Attend an Online Presentation on ‘The Perfect Irrigation System’

If you missed my presentation for the PCA join me online on the 3rd of May
Two weeks ago, from my office I presented my perspective on the perfect irrigation system to delegates attending the Protected Cropping Australia conference, held in Coffs Harbour. Due to the uncertainty of covid restrictions and isolation requirements I chose to present via Zoom. Just as well I did as my family were on their covid journey at the time, so I wouldn’t have been able to get on a plane anyway.
My presentation focused on the different substrates available to growers, the dimensions, structures, volumes and importantly the actual delivery systems and different methods/applied volume used. The fact is I do not know what the ‘perfect irrigation system is’ no one does – yet. Even though it is impossible to be certain any one grower is using the ‘perfect irrigation system’ we are able, using all the current technology available, get remarkably close to target values that we know help us reach close to precision outcomes as possible.
If you missed my presentation, I will be hosting a free Zoom meeting on Tuesday the 3rd of May at 6.30pm NZ time. If you wish to join simply e-mail stefan@grower2grower.co.nz, I will send you the meeting invite. Space is limited. The presentation will take 15-20 minutes with time to answer questions afterwards.
