HFF Conference Melbourne

HFF Conference Melbourne
Tuesday 12th of July – Thursday 14th of July

Melbourne, Australia is hosting the HFF Conference this year – This is another great green house growing conference I recomend New Zealand growers consider to attend.

The Hydroponic Farmers Federation Executive Committee are excited to announce the 12th Biennial HFF Conference will go ahead as planned on the new dates; Tuesday 12th July – Thursday 14th July, 2022. We are also delighted to confirm the conference will be hosted at the Atura Dandenong and we plan to deliver the high-quality program we designed in 2022.

John Elford, President on behalf of the HFF Executive Committee

Celebrating 25 years, the HFF grew from a small self-help group to the large association we are today because of the commitment we all have to furthering the hydroponic industry through supporting each other. Networking is the single most important function of the HFF; we provide the forum for this via Farm visits, our Biennial Conference, newsletter and representation at various levels. Membership is open to all commercial growers of hydroponic produce; there are also membership categories for suppliers to the industry and other interested parties. The committee are very excited about the 2022 Conference; our 12th Biennial Conference. We continue to expand and develop the conference format for 2022, offering our trade members the opportunity to invite their grower customers to conference, to learn, share and network with like-minded people; potentially extending the reach of this conference far beyond previous events, and throwing the conference doors open to Non-HFF members.

Greater collaboration, stronger representation, and better use of levy funding sit behind the new joint approach from Tomatoes New Zealand and Vegetables New Zealand Incorporated. There has been a call, for several years, that TNZ and VNZI should work together more closely as there are so many similarities amongst the greenhouse sector, including the growers themselves.
