Fieldays begins next week
How many growers/farmers will be there?
Next Thursday the 1st of December I will be working on the Horticulture NZ stand in the main pavilion. Please come and see me if you are attending Fieldays.
Due to all of the uncertainty around covid and lockdowns the event was postponed and rescheduled for late November. I will be interested how well the event is attended especially by farmers at a time when it is a very busy time of the year for them. Staff shortages may also make it difficult for farmers to attend.
For horticulturists, especially covered crop growers it is a tremendously busy time of the year. I hope it is well attended as fieldays is extremely important to the farming community and the suppliers. Next year Fieldays is back to its normal June time slot.
