Michael Bednarz new Powerplants Australia CEO
Powerplants Australia have last month announced a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Michael Bednarz, to take over from Simon Gomme.

Bednarz, who has been with the company for over a decade at this point, is moving into the CEO chair after having spent two years as the companies Chief Operating Officer (COO). He is credited with playing a crucial role in the companies recent growth.

Bednarz has a long history in the horticultural field, stemming from a childhood passion for the field. His professional development includes studying at Australian Institute of Company Directors and Deakin University, while his professional experience involves designing and integrating profitable growing solutions, project delivery, service, and geographical expansion.

Michael will work closely with the company’s directors and management team to drive forward Powerplants’ strategic vision across Australia and abroad, including its business operations in New Zealand and Southeast Asia. “I look forward to leading Powerplants with a focus on executing projects utilizing the latest developments in global technology to deliver meaningful projects that are locally installed and supported to create lasting value for our customers,” Michael said.
