Vine Fresh NZ is looking for a reliable and motivated Class 4 Truck Driver / Forklift Operator to join our growing team at our commercial greenhouse operation in Tuakau.

This is a varied role, and truck driving will be just one part of the job. You will be responsible for transporting our fresh tomato and cucumber crops, while also supporting the wider greenhouse and packhouse operation.

Depending on the requirements of the business, your duties may include:

• Transporting fresh produce between Vine Fresh and our customers, suppliers or other locations
• Loading and unloading produce and materials
• Operating a forklift and assisting with yard and packhouse activities
• Moving pallets, bins, packaging and other materials around the site
• Assisting with greenhouse crop work when required
• Supporting general site and operational duties
• Carrying out basic maintenance tasks if you have mechanical or maintenance skills

Previous horticulture experience is an advantage but is not essential. Full training will be provided on site. We are looking for someone who is practical, reliable and willing to get involved in different areas of the business.

This is a hands-on role. You will spend part of most days on your feet and the work can involve bending, reaching, lifting and working in a warm glasshouse environment. The ability to safely lift up to 25 kg and work at height on a greenhouse trolley when required is important.

What You Need:

🍅 Minimum Class 4 Heavy Vehicle Licence

🍅 Current Forklift Licence

🍅 Previous truck driving and forklift experience preferred

🍅 Horticulture or greenhouse experience is an advantage but not essential

🍅 A good driving record and commitment to safe work practices

🍅 Ability to complete the required pre-employment drug testing

🍅 Legally entitled to work in New Zealand
