Event Major Sponsor

Event Details:

On Thursday the 17th of November. NZ Gourmet, with Grower2Grower, will be hosting a grower breakfast, International Dutch tomato consultant and grower Marc Groenewegen, from the Prominent Growers Group, will be talking. Joining Marc, in the discussion, is recently retired Dutch tomato growing expert Toon Oomen.

This is a superb opportunity to listen to world experts on subjects and issues affecting us all. The key topics Marc will focus on:

  • Energy
  • Labour
  • Hygiene/Disease – PEPmv mitigation and experiences with ToBRV
  • New variety developments regarding ToBRV

This event is open to commercial greenhouse growers, not just tomato growers. Energy is a topic that is one of the biggest issues being faced by the greenhouse industry. Marc has first-hand knowledge and experience of biomass systems and CO2 capture which will be of great interest.

  • Time 8.30 am to 10.30am
  • Location: BNZ partners building, Pukekohe
