Held in the first week of November, the Young Horticulturist of the Year brings together the best young talent in horticulture. The finalists are drawn from sector (e.g. Amenity Horticulture, NZ Plant Producers etc.) competitions and compete in a range of challenges including practical skills, an innovation project, leadership ability, business knowledge and communication.

This year’s Grand Final will be held on the 4th and 5th of November, Ellerslie, Auckland.
