Powerplants new installation – Vietnam
The food bowl for Asia
Rijk Zwaan Vietnam LLC have developed a research station in the Lam Dong province near Da Lat in Vietnam. They are surrounded by 10,000+ ha of greenhouse production at an altitude of 1500m above sea level.
The lower temperature and humidity have led to the region becoming a food bowl for Asia allowing the production of food crops and flowers using protected cropping and modern growing systems.
We had a very fun week installing a Priva system to control a Richel greenhouse and visited many growers around the region with our newest employee Le Hong Au
