Powerplants News – Fertigation in Full Flow (NZ)

Miro Project Complete, NZ Up Next
We’ve just completed the successful installation of 2 x Priva NutriJet 300 in-line systems and a Compact CC climate control unit at Miro, New Zealand — part of projects PR000586 and PRRTF000016.
This upgrade forms part of Miro’s broader orchard enhancement program as they transition to blueberry production. Their goal? Remove all the guesswork from fertigation and achieve optimal results through precision and consistency.
“We chose the Priva system because we needed accuracy — and that led us to Powerplants and RTF as the trusted Priva partners across Australia and New Zealand,” said Liz Te Amo, CEO of Miro.
“It was time to take things to the next level. The install was seamless and the system is operating exactly as expected.”
Our in-house team removed the older system, preserved the existing control panel, and mounted the new equipment on the original frame — simplifying space, reducing maintenance, and streamlining performance.
Precision Fertigation Delivered
Fully commissioned and now running smoothly, this new system is already delivering the results Miro was looking for.
But the work doesn’t stop here. A 40-foot container packed with Australian-sourced components is currently being shipped to support a series of major fertigation installations in New Zealand later this year — working alongside European-sourced parts to form a complete, integrated rollout.
Why This Matters
✅ A cleaner, more accurate fertigation process
✅ Energy and resource efficiency
✅ Integration with Priva climate control systems
✅ Reduced manual input, greater peace of mind
Stay tuned — we’re just getting started. New Zealand – we’re on our way.
