International Tomato Greenhouse Consultant to speak in Pukekohe at Grower2Grower Breakfast in conjunction with NZ Gourmet

Save the date for Thursday the 17^th of November. NZ Gourmet, with Grower2Grower, will be hosting a grower breakfast,  International Dutch tomato consultant and grower Marc Groenewegen, from the Prominent Growers Group, will be talking .  Joining Marc, in the discussion, is recently retired Dutch tomato growing expert Toon Oomen.

This is a superb opportunitiy to listen to world experts on subjects and issues effecting us all.  The key topics Marc will focus on:

• Energy
• Labour
• Hygiene/Disease – PEPmv mitigation and experiences with ToBRV
• New variety developments regarding ToBRV

This event is open to commercial greenhouse growers, not only tomato growers. Energy is a topic that is one of the biggest issues being faced by the greenhouse industry. Marc has first-hand knowledge and experience of biomass systems and CO2 capture which will be of great interest.
